which pad?

hi,quick question for the guru's. which pad should i use for
uc,swirl x and scratch. i have a couple w8207 pads and a
w8207. not sure which to use whith which product. have a
few swirls and one panel with some very fine scratches
in a 2010 mustang. thanks!

For below surface defect removal: swirls, scratches, water spots, oxidation use yellow polishing pad, which will remove small amount of top layer of paint leveling it.

For finishing products like waxes and pure polishes use black finishing pad which is gentle (no cutting).
