I was looking at buyong some UC the otherday and had a question befoe I bought it. In this sites infinite knowledge of detailing, has there been anyone who has used UC with a Powerball for Paint? I was wondering if these two products would get a scratch out faster than doing it by hand? If anyone knows that has used these two products together please let me know how it worked out. Thanks.

Re: Quick Question about UC
I'm afraid you need to ask Mother's about their recommendations.
According to product description Power Ball 4 Paint can be used with polishes and waxes:
I'm not sure if you would get any paint correction using it with UC.
Probably it's better to do hand application.

Re: Quick Question about UC
I have used the ball before and it becomes very tireing trying to hold the drill/ball at the same distance and speed throughout the buffing cycle. If you have bad spots you can use it for spot repair, although It would be better to do hand application with UC as you will be able to control it better.Practice doesn't make perfect, the dedication to achieve perfection makes perfect. Re: Quick Question about UC
There is no reason why you should not use UC with Mother's Powerball for Paint. That product is designed to be used with this type of product, after all. Now, how effective it's going to be will be determined by the cutting action of the foam, how much speed and pressure you can put down on the paint, and the paint itself of course.
One can only imagine that if the Powerball for Paint is also meant to be used as a wax applicator then the foam can't be all that terribly aggressive. And sometimes you need that little extra aggression from your applicator to help with correction. That's why we recommend our polishing pad for defect correction when using UC and not our finishing pad.
Now, whether or not you find the tool to be comfortable, user friendly, etc is up to you. But in theory it should work - depending on what you're really trying to accomplish.Michael Stoops
