So ive been outa the "detailing" scene for a while. Car has been parked in the university parking lot and is rinsed once a month at the local car wash thing...I dont use that brush thing though..just rinse. It hasnt been "detailed" since August...I got a REAL quick wash when I came home for thanksgiving break. I used scilicoin based dressing to dress my trim. Now, a few weeks later, my black trim looks like white chalk has been rubbed on it? any ideas???

Re: Scilicoin based dressing truns white?
I can almost guarantee you that white chalk looking stuff on your trim is wax. You probably put the ASD over it and then over time when the ASD wore off the residue was left. I have gotten wax (even liquid) on trim and rubber modlings and it dries white and is stubborn to get off.
