Hi, Need information on product to remove surface scratches and blemishes on the loader arms and fenders on my new (demo) JD tractor. Damage caused by tree branches, boots, transport straps. Thanks!

Re: JD Green
I have a 1995 JD utility tractor that I bought new. It gets scratched from mowing around low hanging trees.
I suggest the you use one of the newer Meguiar's polishes and stop when it looks "good enough". I'd probably use the Untimate Compound. Then I'd lay on a good coat of wax. I use Color X on my JD because it has a bit of polish/cleaning capability. I wax it twice a year and use only ColorX. No other polish.
JD paint is a very soft single stage paint. You are going to see a lot of green on your polishing cloth.
The first time I really went after the scratches on my JD, I used Meguiar's #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish. I removed a bunch for the scratches but not all. If I used #83 frequently, I'd be down to primer in no time.
Just remember...it's a tractor not a "show car".
