    Hi Guys,

I'm going to start my 3rd detailing of my 2010 Audi A5 Cabriolet:

Using clay + show car glaze + NxTech - I get about 5 months, before UD becomes more difficult.

This time I'm thinking instead of show car glaze m80 or show care glaze (dependent upon, visual after clay) then meguiars carnuba wax.

Will carnuba last as long as nxtech? Do you allow complete drying of carnuba like nexttech, before removal?

Newbie to carnuba here. Comment much appreciated

Were you thinking of M26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax? It is a very popular wax and the second wax I ever used.

You can use M80 Speed Glaze if you want. It has very light cleaning ability so it will help to remove any minor swirls and the like. M80 uses the same polishing oils found in M07 Show Car Glaze. M80 is almost like M07 on steroids.

M26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax or Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax will not last as long as NXT Tech Wax 2.0. The exact time will vary with environment but NXT is the best protecting and longest lasting wax (until Ultimate Wax is released).

Always allow any Meguiars to dry to a haze before removal. This will ensure the best protection. Also remember to work in thin coats no matter what wax you use.
