        If you are close to the border, another option is to use one of the package receiving services in Blaine or Point Roberts. You get the free shipping offer that is usually available, and bring the stuff across the border yourself. This avoids the brokerage fee that Fed Ex and the like put on shipments from the states.

        Added bonus- filling up with cheap gas while on the other side
        Keep your mast up and your rudder wet !!
