  • DC Polish after Swirl X?

Guys need some advice. It is a brand new shiny black VW. Do you guys think DC polish should/can be used after Swirl X. If I do use it, would it help or hurt the new paint? And is it recommended?
Also my car was not lying in the docks when I took it. It was made on a VIP basis and was directly delivered from the company workshop. Although, I had to wait for three months So I assume the paint is going to be fresh and new. So I hope the above processes do not have a negative impact... please advice

SwirlX already has polishing oils similar to those in DC Polish. Therefore, save yourself the effort and go straight to wax after SwirlX.

DC Polish will not harm your paint, so feel free to apply it if you just want to see how it looks.

Yes, DC Polish would be optional, but wont hurt if you do.

But would it help? Coz I don't mind to put in some more effort and time for a coat of polish. And after washing my car with GC car wash, can I use the remaining water in the bucket to wash my alloys? Or do you suggest a wheel cleaner?

A new clear coat wont need the 'health benefits' of a polish like an older paint would.

As far as looks, that would be up to you. Black certainly has the highest chance of improved looks, but that would be up to you eyes.

If the wheels are washed often, regular soap may be enough.

A small test spot in bright light/sun would be the best way to tell. Your eyes will be the best judge.
Yes on the wash water for the alloys.
            Black......the ONLY color!

Sorry guys another dumb question.. If I wash my car, say 2-3 times a week with a GC car wash(including wheels), is it ok to use the all wheel cleaner only when required i.e. when they get really dirty? Or do you guys recommend that I use the wheel cleaner everytime I clean them?

It really depends on how easy your wheels are to clean. Some wheels only need ordinary car shampoo with the occassional use of a dedicated wheel wash when/if required. Others need the extra muscle of a wheel cleaner more regularly. You need to use your judgement.
