Re: Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 Review
I'm using mothers sealer and glaze, i think both serve the same purpose. DC2 polish is an optional step and works best on dark paint. I'd still use that (or in my case, mothers step2) to add shine regardless of color and also to ensure better adhesion of the wax to the paint.
How bout some pics? I actually use collinite on top of NXT 2.0.. just a wax i wanted to try out, but i found nxt works great by itself.

Re: Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 Review
NXT 2.0 is a good wax, being a synthetic polymer i was quite surprised on how it adds depth to dark paint. A lot than what i was expecting, and with deep crystal carnauba wax (or Gold class carnauba plus), you'll really love it. In terms of depth and wet look, you'll love the deep crystal carnauba just as much as NXT 2.0. It is a pure wax however, no cleaners or polishing agents in it.

Yeah I don't understand the flack you're getting. I thought the review was pretty good. Us young people must think alike lol.
If I wanted truly professional work I wouldn't be looking for reviews on YouTube. You're reviews keep my attention and make me remember the name of the product. What else could you want?

Re: Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 Review
All right guys, let's ease up a whole bunch here, OK?
If rdrman wants to post up a review here, YouTube, or anywhere else, it's his right to do so. If you don't think he's giving as in depth a review as you might expect, there's a right way to encourage him to improve - whether you agree with his findings or not. It is, after all, a review. Nobody has ever written a review on anything that everyone agreed on. Reviews are merely opinions, not fact. The discussions about what's the "best" wax have been done to death, so we all know there is no universal "best".
We were all 17 once, and we've all been enthusiastic about something at that, probably even to the point of annoying our parents about it. And we're all passionate about detailing, but we didn't all know everything when we first got started. Some helpful criticism is welcome, but there's no need to attack anyone.

Re: Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 Review
NXT 2.0 is great, NXT 2.0 topped with GC is even better.
Keep up the reviews, work on the camera shaking though, it reminds me of the blair witch project.
Good job

Re: Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 Review
Meguiar's make some top shelf products which I'd not want to be without on my shelf. However when it comes to LSP, be it sealants, wax or both, there are certainly a few other brands that I'd not want to be without either. I would not want to be without M105, ultimate compound, M205, APC+ and meg's QW. I'd also not want to detail my vehicles without products such as BlackFire's Wet Diamond sealant, DoDo Juice waxes, PoorBoy Natty Blue wax, Collinite waxes or WG Fuzion.
To limit oneself to just a single brand is to ultimately sell oneself short.

You are right that prep is what counts.
