Quick Review Of The New Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax
A couple of weeks ago, I ordered the new gallon sized Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax from ADS. Whenever I get something new, I try it first on my own vehicles to see how it performs before using it on customer vehicles.
I pulled out our '07 Camry Hybrid and gave it a good wash using the two bucket system, grit guards, MF mitts and Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner. Earlier this year, I did a complete detail (wash, clay, polish and wax) so it really didn't need much more than a good wash and possibly a wax. Water beaded very well since the last wax (Tech Wax 2.0)
After drying the car, I inspected the finish for any roughness (found none) eliminating the need for clay. So on with trying the Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax.
I got a new spray bottle out, shook well the gallon of Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax and poured it in the spray bottle undiluted.
As per product instructions, I started one section at a time on the hood doing a quarter section at a time which ended up being about 2'X2' area. Using a clean MF towel, I spread the product amd immediately followed that with a new, clean MF towel to wipe the product off while still wet. I buffed the area to a shine and went on to complete the entire hood.
I stood back and inspected the area and was REALLY impressed with the gloss of the charcoal grey color and the reflection. And talk about SLICK??
The Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax gives such an incredible slickness to the surface that I honestly wondered if it beat the feel of standard wax. I can't express enough how smooth and slippery the hood felt.
I have to say that I am 100% sold and impressed with this new spray wax and will keep it in my arsenal of Meguiars product.
I have to give this the two thumbs up and if I had more thumbs, it would get those too. Nice work Meguiars!!
