Ultimate wash & wax

I noticed that there are not too many threads on the new ULTIMATE WASH & WAX.

Anyone has experience on this product? How does it compare to GC car wash?

I use it when not going to detail, or use UQW after.

Very good product. easy to use. Just wash your vehicle, dry it. All done.

Directly compared to Gold Class it should create more suds in the bucket and it will keep the shine up by adding a bit of wax to the surface. To get the most out of it though you want to extend the dwell time on the paint compared to using a "regular" car wash soap (just don't let it dry!) and rinse with just a steady stream from the hose rather than blasting it off with a hard spray through a nozzle.

Do a final gentle "sheeting rinse" and you'll find drying the car to be a piece of cake.

I'm about two-thirds of the way through my jug of Ultimate Wash & Wax. I'm still not sure what I think of the product. I love the smell. It's a pleasure to use. It seems to clean well. But I honestly cannot say that I have seen much gloss enhancement. I have tried the extra dwell time, etc. And on two occasions I have discovered "spotting" on the paint afterwards that I needed to clean up with a quick detailer. Perhaps I let the stuff dwell too long.

I doubt I will buy UW&W again. This idiot needs an idiot-proof car shampoo. Plus I really do not need gloss-enhancement from my shampoo. I keep my cars in good shape and well-waxed. If I need an extra shot of gloss, I'll pull out Ultimate Quik Wax.

Among Meguiar's shampoos I like both Gold Class and NXT, though I think I like NXT best. NXT cleans extremely well and rinses off nicely. I just wish I could find it locally.

I am almost done with my jug of UWW and will definitely be buying more in the spring. It is a fantastic maintenance product. I noticed that the flake in my car definitely sparkled more with the use of UWW.

I must join The Club and say that I'm happy with Ultimate Wash & Wax results.

If I don't have time to wash and use Ultimate Quik Wax I just use UW&W. But, as Akimel said, washing and using a spray wax brings much better final result for sure. I also think that Next Car Wash cleans the best.

I've seen a gloss increase and I believe that I would be good in the winter mos. or if or you didn't want the spray wax.
It is a little thick thou it's a little like a melted candle. And it makes it hard to measure for proper ratio.

I think UWW is a very nice wash and wax product. I wouldn't be afraid to buy more.

My only complaint is that it does not foam well in my foam gun.

I love this stuff especially the smell of it! I noticed after using it the water does seem to beed up better on the car again. I would use this or gold class, but I might just move over to this as I am kinda liking this better.
