What's your method??

I was just curious about what everyone elses method of keeping their cars/trucks clean?
I personal start with a 2 bucket wash and hand dry with MF towels. After that I use M07 show car polish, nxt 2.0 and then top that off with gold class for extra shine.

It would be cool to know what your method is? Maybe I'm not getting the best shine possible? So if you could let me know what your method is that would be amazing!! Thanks!

Yea I usually clay about every other month the car sits in the garage and barley gets drove. I don't have any scratches, swirls or holgrams so I don't really use a cleaner.

You might like to try a mild one at least, may have dirt if nothing else.

Well, figure washing removes the big loose dirt, and the claying removes dirt bonded to the surface.

It would be safe to say if you have that dirt on the car, there may be dirt down in the pores/imperfections of the paint as well.

So you can use a mild cleaner, that may not have much defect removal ability, to get that dirt out.

You could look at Deep Crystal Cleaner if still around you, SwirlX/#205 can be applied in a milder manner, Cleaner/Wax or ColorX are one-step options, the new Ultimate Polish will have some cleaning abilty.

+1 for claying..It does wonders.Use the clay bar kit. Follow it up with SwirlX as it is not too strong. Nxt2.0 is a good choice. DC polish is great too. Another important thing to maintain the shine and gloss is frequent use of UQD and UQW. Both are excellent products. UQW after every wash and UQD to get off dust and make the car shine.

I agree, even with a garage queen. There is need for claying and using a paint cleaner.

I do clay my car but I don't do it Alot since the car never gets drove and sits in the garage, I will clay the car about every other month, and I occasional use cleaner wax, I didn't mention that I use UQD and UQW everyday because it seems to dusty sitting in the garage, the UQD is a savior for me or else I would be washing it everyday!
