will the Meguiars surface clay kit work for windshields?? i know there is one made for windows and such but my local stores only carry the surface clay kit, and i don't want order the window one if the surface clay kit works for windows as well .

Yeah, the SS Clay Kit will work for glass.

I am not aware of any clay sold by Meguiars thats just for glass.

Using the Smooth Surface Clay kit on your windows shouldnt be a problem.

Either would work, the SS Clay or the Mild Blue one. The mild blue is a bit stronger, still safe, but comes in a large amount, and just have to pick up a lube seperate. Up to you.

I frequently use Meguiars clay/M34 Final Inspection on the rear window of my 2007 Suburban to remove the grit that builds up quickly on the rear liftgate. Last week I clayed the window then applied Rain-X for the winter (Northeast Ohio is brutal). Hopefully it will hold up better against the elements.
