      You can. If you call our Customer Service Hotline, they'll set you up with the special we ran during Christmas which includes the Velcro backing plate, one W-8006 foam polishing pad and the lifetime warranty. 1-800-347-5700.

      If you decide you want to really get into polishing paint by machine, then not only do you want the dual action polisher but you also want to get a pad kit like this one,

      Set of 3 pads - WDAV99-B



      You're also going to need some #80 and possibly some #83 and a couple of bonnets for removing the wax.

      Best of all, Meguiar's offers a 1-800- Customer Service Hotline as well as a discussion forum where you can get help with your paint polishing projects... I'm not sure Lowe's offers these extra sevices...
