  • Just, how good is a 're-spray' ?

I never resprayed cars before, but I always hear my friends saying 'ah,nevermind, just respray the entire panel and it's good as new'.

Or.. is it? Can it be done? i mean, in the factory, they use a swarm of robots in special air tight rooms, But the dealer/body shop simply use some bloke with spray guns and they can make it 'good as new'??

There will be evidence left behind. Especially if orange peel incorrect. If it's sprayed on lightly, it feels rough and will have very little gloss.
On the other hand, when it's sprayed on too heavy, it be more smooth... Might look better, but it's incorrect.

Like anything, it depends on the level of experience of the applicator.
      quality creates its own demand
