  • Which is the Best Interior Detailer?

Hey guys I was planning to purchase Quik Interior Detailer spray(G13616) but wanted to know if its the right choice. I am basically looking for a detailer which will keep my interiors clean and dust-free. However, I am not a big fan of the gloss and shine for the dash, etc. Also, the place where I stay is usually very sunny, so also need something which provides good UV protection for the dash and plastics. Suggestions please

Based upon what you just said, Quik Interior Detailer is exactly what you want. It is for lighter dirt and dust, it doesn't gloss up the finish, and it has UV protectants. Done!

QID will be lowest gloss, and best cleaning for light dirt.

While the newer versions did have more UV protection added, you will get more protection from using something like Natural Shine. But there will be a little more shine, but not too bad. Applying Natural Shine, letting it sit for a few minutes, then buffing off excess with a clean cloth wil knock down any shine some as well.

Thank you guys for the quick reply. So which would be a better option? QID or Natural shine? Coz frankly I don't mind a bit of shine.. And is it true that you don't get an even coat with the Natural Shine?

In that case, it wouldn't be either or - Natural Shine is mainly a protectant. You should still use QID for the cleaning. He was just saying that you'd get an even bigger UV protection boost if you put some Natural Shine on after QID.

Yeah, I use QID and Supreme Shine... You can apply the dressing, and then dust a few times in between with the QID, then re-dress.

So can I use QID once a week and Natural Shine for the shiny effect and extra UV protection whenever needed? If yes, Then I will buy both..Or are there any other suggestions/alternatives?

Yeah, like Natural Shine every 4 weeks or so would probably be a plan, then dusting when wanted.

And what would you suggest for dusting then?

I dust with a MF sprayed lightly with QID...
