I recently finished painting my steering wheel from grey to black in my 06 F150 with Landau Black SEM Colorcoat (looks factory perfect so far.)
I let it sit and cure for 24 hour hours and it will be more than ready to be reinstalled, but what I am wondering is, would protecting it with an interior plastic protectant (like Natural Shine etc) be a smart thing to do, would it slightly promote the paint to adhere to the steering wheel, or do the opposite, or neither. or should I wait a few weeks?
It looks great and I want to do what ever I have to to keep it looking that way for as long as I can.
