Brushed aluminum etched!!! help please

Need help here!! I have a 1936 Tear drop trailer with a brushed aluminum roof with what I belave it a clear sealer on it. It seems that it was washed with a degreaser sprayed directly on it and the washed... There are perfect etching marks of where it was sprayed. I have tried alot of different chemicals with no real change.... Adams apc did re-etch it for me though! Please help..

your going to have to hit that with a metal polish and then you will still be in for a battle

i tried a metal polish... it doesnt touch it... the sealer is what is stained not the aluminum... Im wondering if a degreaser wash mixed with some car wash soap will work?

If it is clear coated, you dont want a metal polish, you want a paint cleaner.

Any chance of a pic or two?

Yeah I actually think it has a film/ clear coat on it. Ill try and get a pic tomorrow... its really hard to pick up with a camera, but ill try.

If it is clearcoated, you are going to have to treat it like paint. I second the paint cleaner. SwirlX or UC should remove the etchings.
