  • Detailing Soon, Couple of Questions

Hey guys, so its been seven months since i've last detailed my car and plan on doing it within the next two weeks. Last time i did it i i clay barred, follwed by Meguiars deep crystal polish, then NXT tech wax 2.0. I've been doing some research on Meguiars #7 so i picked up a bottle a couple of days ago. I wanted to know if i should still use the deep crystal polish then the #7 followed by NXT or can i just put the #7 on after claybar then the NXT. Thanks

If you go with the #7 you don't need the DC Polish. So, Wash, Clay, #7, NXT.

You do not need 2 polishes. #7 is considered the top of the line. If you already have it, that's the one I would use.

Deep Crystal Polish is essentially the consumer version of M07. Both are used exactly the same way and for the same reason/purpose. Use one or the other - no need for both.

Awesome, thanks guys. This is all being done by hand so the less work the better. Can't wait to get started this coming weekend.
