It's a piece of cake cleaning pads that have been used with UC or D151, but how do you clean a 9207 that's been used to apply NXT? I tried to clean one in the sink last week and that was a nightmare. Does anyone have a solution?

So after soaking in warm water with say Dawn for a few hours, do they clean up pretty easy? After trying to clean them last week, I just gave up, what a mess.

Re: Cleaning pads
At least take a look on google at my suggestion before posting...This picture will answer your questions to me. BTW, this is stronger than any Dawn I've used. Wear gloves when you work it into the pad.

eyezack87,
That was not a slanderous remark toward you. It was a remark in frustration. I've used Dawn dish washing for years and seen it take oil off birds.
I will do a Google on Dawn Power Resolver. Thanks for all your help.

Re: Cleaning pads
If you're having that much trouble, and making such a mess, trying to wash NXT out of your foam pads that tells us you're using way too much wax. Way too much.
When we throw ours in the washing machine here at work they come out looking almost like they've never been used.
Have a read through this thread for some info on how little wax you actually need to cover an entire car.Michael Stoops

Yep, I read that thread when it first came out. Maybe I am using to much NXT. It sure doesn't feel like it when you're putting it on. I even used your trick of pressing the DA on to the car to squeeze out some of the wax. Maybe I have enough wax still in the pad to do another car.
Thanks for your help.

Actually, I have not had a chance to do much of anything. I have a regular job during the week, radio, and believe it or not, I've been getting programming ready for Christmas. I only get to have fun just on the weekends. The only thing I have had a chance to do is check Amazon for the Power Disolver. I'm going to try and get some this next week, or lose a pad. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again for your help. I love learning from others.

Re: Cleaning pads
Sure thing. If they have Walmart in your area, they carry it. Targets around me don't for some strange reason...
Another tip, if you leave it on the pad too long (1+ hour), it'll start dissolving the pad. Hence why I recommended gloves since you'll be working it into the pad by handHello, I am Isaac
