  • QID vs. APC

The addition of QID to the Professional/bulk line has raised a new question: When cleaning the interior, besides the UV protection, what is the fundamental difference between QID and APC when APC is diluted to its light cleaning dilution? I've usually used APC for harsher dirt. Thanks.

QID will be milder and leave a little protection.

I find APC at 10:1 to be a much stronger cleaner than QID. Unless I'm seeing things? haha

        Re: QID vs. APC

APC is for cleaning but doesn't really offer any "protection" where as QID is good for lightly cleaning or as a "booster" to something like M40 / Supreme Shine / Natural Shine.

I use 10:1 (occasionally 4:1 if REALLY dirty) APC+ for cleaning the interior followed by M40 or Natural shine.

For "in-between" applications of M40 / Natural Shine, I use QID to clean up dust & the occasional coffee spill.

Qid will give a little protection. None to speak of with the apc.
