Re: Colorx (allow to dry?)
ColorX is a highly effective cleaner wax so, even though you should allow it to dry fully before wiping off, you also want to work it against the paint with a bit of passion. Whereas NXT, Gold Class, M26, Deep Crystal Carnauba and other non cleaner waxes need only be spread thinly and evenly, any cleaner wax should be applied with some vigor in order to realize the full potential of the product.Michael Stoops

Re: Colorx (allow to dry?)
I was told, although not advised to do so, by a reputable poster here that Colorx would serve the purpose of a good cleaner and polish if you didn't let it dry fully. If you do let it dry then the wax or protective component of the product is more in play.
Keep in mind this poster did recommend I use it as intended and let it dry, serving as my first coat of wax. I only tell you this for more information on the product and... If your going to double coat NXT or gold class after colorx, then I wouldn't concern myself too much with waiting on the colorx to dry fully."The Dude Abides"

Re: Colorx (allow to dry?)
You can wipe off before it dries but I would go over the section with some glass cleaner or IPA to remove any of the streaking from the wax.Tedrow's Detailing

Re: Colorx (allow to dry?)
Don't know about a DA but it works great with my random orbital buffer. You can get a little more "passion" with the buffer, and it is easier on the joints. I only use it to apply the ColorX, and take off by hand when it dries..
