I have a lot of clear coat scratches, not deep...my daughter and her friend decided to surprise me and wash my car well her friend actually used the green abrasive side of the sponge and scratched my car all up. What can I use to take them away?

Re: Help removing scratches
First off, welcome to MOL!
Second, we've pulled your post out of the old thread Scratch Removed using Ultimate Compound and created a new thread for you. You'll get more traffic and potentially more and better answers to your question in a dedicated thread.
Third, let's look at your problem a bit closer. Some of those sponges can have a pretty abrasive "scrubby" side to them and they can do real damage. Can you feel any of these scratches with your fingernail? If you can't then you should be able to remove them with something like Ultimate Compound, even working by hand. It may be a bit of work (it may be a lot of work, actually, depending on the paint and the amount of scratching present!). What you want to do is apply the UC with a foam wax applicator pad, concentrating on very small areas at a time - like 1' x 1', no larger. Don't be afraid to use some elbow grease here. You are literally trying to level the paint surrounding these scratches, and that is just not accomplished by gently wiping on any product.
If you can feel these scratches with your fingernail then you may have a serious problem on your hands. Scratches that deep are far enough into the clear coat that often they can not be safely removed. You may be able to minimize the appearance of them, but to fully remove them means to remove so much clear that you compromise the UV protection afforded by the clear and the paint won't survive much longer. Not trying to scare you here, just stating the worst case scenario. From your description, however, we doubt your situation is this serious.Michael Stoops

Re: Help removing scratches
Okay, sadly I did this same thing to my 2007 Mazda 3....and I KNOW better. Just grabbed the first sponge I could find to get all the stupid bugs off my bumper. I'm hoping to try the suggestions on here and get it looking like new again! I'll try and get some before and after pics posted. First off, I need to see exactly how bad the scratches are. Don't think they are that deep. Thanks for the info!
