  • To remove rain spots.

    Hi
my car is balck and it shows rain spots. I washed and performed the following hand steps:
    1- cleaner wax
    2-polish
    3-wax

Still in the light I can see the rain spots have not been removed. Please advice how can I remove them and keep the car shine.

    Thanks for your help.

    Re: To remove rain spots.

The cleaner/wax is a very mild product.

You would be best starting with clay and SwirlX. After working the SwirlX in a bit on a test area, you would have to get a good look at it and see if something stronger is needed.

What kind of car is it?

      Hi
This is BMW 2006, BTW if i need to use something stronger could u tell what would be. Also, can provide me with the right steps for example:
      1- clay bar
      2- swrilx or stronger?
      3- wax

      Thanks for your help.

        Re: To remove rain spots.

Buy a D/A Buffer, some pads and some chemicals if your desire is not to put any more swirls in the paint. They can be buffed out by hand but it takes time, effort and proper technique not to introduce more swirls.

When I had hard water spots transfer on to my Trans Am I was lucky and able to get them out with Swirl X and a foam applicator. It would not clay or wash out, needed a little more umph.

BMW's can be tough by hand, but no harm in trying.

          1. Wash
          2. Clay
          3. Clean - SwirlX is the mild product. Ultimate Compound would be the strong product.
          4. Wax - 2 thin coats are recommended.
