  • How to Polish with M105/M205

I came across today this article by Todd Cooperider: Polishing How To with Meguiar's M105/M205. It looked pretty good to me, so I thought I'd pass it on and invite your reflections.
Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

An informative article. I would just caution the inexperienced to be careful with M105. It can create more problems than it solves. I think the natural tendency is to assume that all swirls require the heavy artillery right out of the chute. As with most things, one needs to pick and choose, and adapt things to his/her unique situation.

I very much agree on both accounts a really good example of how to use the product with a D/A. IMO I would like a Rotary version too but thats just me.

Also to reitterate that using the least harsh chemical/pad combo, coupled with the pressure and speed leads to the "Total Cut" conversation and to say less is more. See the sticky here about that. Thats a GREAT read that compliments this one.

Todd writes some very good articles! His detailing work isn't half bad either.
