I'm working outdoors on my car because I don't have a garage. I just did a swirl removal on the car today, but it took so long after masking things with tape, that I have to wait till tomorrow to do a machine glaze. I plan to wash the car and remove any missed residue from the swirl remover with some quik detailer in the morning. Then I will machine glaze the car, but since this will take some time, I may or may not have time to seal the car right after finishing the glaze. So if I have to wait to the next day to apply the sealer, will I run into problems if I wash the car again the following day before I apply the sealer???

I thought that the Meguiars hand or machine glaze contains "paint oils", so I would wonder if washing the day after glazing would take them off????Comment

Using something like QD might be gentler than washing, as far as leaving the most oils behind.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR BlueComment

I'd Cover with something soft, like a car over or even a bed spread, something to leave contaminants off. If you cant. QD is the next thing I'd try. IF I wash, I expect to have to glaze again.Comment
