Re: Problem with liquid tire dressing
I've always said that I think too many people slop on tons of dressing and then use harsh chemicals to remove them.... to what end?
Start with a clean tire. I'd recommend a mild cleaner. Then dress the tire with something like All Season Dressing, Hyper Dressing (3:1 or less) or 303's Aerospace Protectant. Let this dry before driving the vehicle.
Then when cleaning the tire next time, just use some car wash and a good brush.
I think gels and heavy dressing simply attract dirt and grime and make your tires look worse in a short amount of time. People then use harsh chemicals to remove this grime. This does not help either as it removes all of the tires natural protectants.
Do this process a few times and I think you will really notice a difference.
