Trunk lid scratches

I have some scratches/lines in the lid of my trunk from my daughter setting a purse or boxes on it and dragging it/them off. Not deep & not through the paint, just lines on the surface.

I am going to try ScratchX, but am wondering what sequence to proceed in.

Wash the area, then the Smooth Surface Clay kit, then ScratchX, then Deep Crystal System Polish, then a wax...?

Any ideas?

Sounds good to me.

If you find that ScratchX is not making any improvements on the defects, then you may want to step up to Ultimate Compound.

But go ahead and proceed with your plan and give the ScratchX a try first, it should at least make a good improvement.
