  • Waterspots are messin with me!!!

Hey guy's... I need your advice..
Spent all day yesterday washing my new truck only to end up disgusted at the waterspots I managed to install..
Here's the plan for next weekend...

    1. Wash with UW&W...Dry
Should I use something else to wash with?
2.SwirlX....Do you think I Should clay first?
3.Do you think I should use a dedicated cleaner next? I'm not sure about this step...
    4. Deep crystal polish
    5. NXT paste
I'm working by hand so any tip's or tricks will be appreciated..

Are you sure that the water spots are a product of your work? That can only mean that you allowed the water to dry prematurely on the paint surface. If you get to them quickly enough, they shouldn't be a problem. I would first hit the paint with a vigorous application of ColorX.

But if ColorX doesn't get the job down, then that means that the water spots have etched into the paint. Now we are talking serious polishing ...

      Welcome to MOL!

You should read through the http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=37320 first - that will show you how to determine if you need to clay or not, what products to choose for various steps, how to use them, etc.
