  • Engine cleaner

I have used a Motul product, Moto Wash, on my motorcycles, including the engines. It worked well and left no streaks. Spray the bike with water, spray on the product, brush or wipe if a bad area, & rinse it off.

Is there any comparable Meg's product to use on engines that are not really caked up that does not require drying and which will leave no streaks? APC perhaps?

    Thanks....

I use APC+ and it works very well (4:1). Great for day-to-day cleanings.

If it's very dirty I use Super Degreaser (4:1, 10:1). Great for "first time" cleanings.

Yeah, APC and/or Super Degreaser is what you're looking for. You may also want to dress appropriate areas with hyper dressing or perhaps Ultimate Protectant.

And holy cow, nice transformation Matt.

Use Super Degreaser. Here is a Link to my 70k Buick and it got it looking VERY good.

I cannot find APC+ on the site anymore. Is it discontinued?

Regular APC will be fine. I'm pretty sure APC+ just has some extra stuff for carpet cleaning anyway. For engine cleaning, APC is great.

                Purple Power spray bottles.

My car is a 1999 and the engine was never cleaned. Sprayed it down with Purple Power, let it sit for a few minutes, sprayed it off. No more grease/oil!

If you want everything to look new again, you have to wipe it down too.
