  • Help on wash and wax products

I am starting to do more detail work on my cars and need some guidance on Meg's different products. I have two newer cars (w/clearcoat) and two hot rods with fresh paint and no clear coat.

What do you folks recommend as a wash and as a wax: NXT, GC, something else...? What are the pros and cons of each?

I prefer a liquid wax for ease of application.

    Thanks in advance.

You can't go wrong with a bottle of NXT 2.0 and a jug of Gold Class Wash.

With NXT you get awesome looks, with Meg's best durability. The Gold Class Wash is a top performer and a favorite among many enthusiasts. But to be honest, you can't go wrong with any Meguiar's offerings. They all work as advertised when used correctly.

I agree with Eric. Solid choices. I also like to use Ultimate wash and wax every couple of washes, Seems to give a little boost to the wax finish.
