    I need to get my winter rims rebalnced but before i do that i want to remove the glue from the weights but can't find anyting to remove them

    Did you try WD40, 3M adhesive remover, Goo Gone?

      I haven't tryed goo gone but i did try acetone and it didn't work

        Plastic razor blade and an apc will take it right off.

                Try spraying some brake clean on a rag then wiping it off. That for sure will clean it off, it may take a little scrubbing though. Just don't spray the rim

                    WD-40 should do it. Let it dwell a bit. then use a plastic razor blade to remove the residue.

                      I would agree, either 3M adhesisve Remover, or Goo Gone.

                          Tar and glue remover i had to take some off my wheel this week no problem,let it soak in and then rub it with a cloth

                            I got pretty much all of it off lastnight...what a pain in the butt...I used a plastic razor blade and i let the acetone soak for a bit... Now next week i'm going to get the balnaced since i get a vibration at 80 KMH
