Re: NXT (cleaner?)
NXT has mild cleaners in it, but I'd be surprised if they are strong enough to remove your water spots and insect remains. For the latter, try Gold Class Bug & Tar Remover. For the former, try ColorX or SwirlX--if they don't work, then that probably means that the spots are etched into the paint; you will then need to move up to something stronger, like Ultimate Compound. Water spots are the bane of my detailing life.Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

Re: NXT (cleaner?)
NXT Tech Wax 2.0 has virtually zero cleaning ability so odds are water spots will be very resistant to it. Best to go with something more along the lines of a good cleaner wax - ColorX or M06 at the very least. You may find you need a dedicated paint cleaner like SwirlX or even Ultimate Compound depending on how severe the water spots are.
Keep in mind that water spots run the gamut from being easy to remove with a simple quick detail spray and microfiber towel all the up to darn near impossible to remove even with a rotary buffer and wool pad.Michael Stoops
