Re: Foam or Micro-Fiber??
Definitely apply with foam, unless you know that your paint will not mar with microfiber applicators and that you are using high quality microfiber applicators.Tedrow's Detailing

Which ever pad you use, just try to keep you fingers flat on the pad so you don't create pressure points.
Apply ultra thin coat of wax. After the wax is fully dry, then use a microfiber cloth to remove the wax.

Re: Foam or Micro-Fiber??
I think foam is much safer and easier to use (less drag). I had a bad experience with one mf once (thought it marred my paint) and never used them again. I use the mf applicators on the interior surfaces.Al

Re: Foam or Micro-Fiber??
I like using the MF pads to apply Ult. Protectant and Supreme Shine. Then I place the saturated pad in a zip lok baggy marked with the product...for the next time use. Less pad washing and streeeetches the product since it takes so little of each of these to do the job.Barry
