Car care line? What to buy

Heyy, i recently just found out im getting a bonus!!! So i was wondering what meguiars products to buy I wanna get a good bulk of different things and idk what things i should buy more or less of and what ones I should deffinitly get. I wanna try to get a whole car care line maybe you guys can help me out with this one. Thanx

Im not to familiar with all the numbers lol but heres what i have. Ultimate Quick detailer and Ultimate quick wax. Im running low on my gold class car wash. I have the endurance tire gel, i think i still have some cleaner paste wax lying around somewhere, but other than that i dont really have alot of it cuz i usually run out.

Well I think you should think about what you are trying to achieve with your car finish. Then you can tailor a buy to suit your needs. Maybe a d/a? or, the 105/205 combo. A couple of different waxes/ Interior protectorant, Apc, All season dressing, etc.

Don't overbuy. ADS offers some good sampler deals that will let you try out most of the Megs Mirror Glaze and Detailer lines

Yeah, lets get a set look at your process, then we can fill in the blanks:

3. Clean - Hand/Machine - How strong do you need? Cleaner/Wax preferred, or for some quicker details?

4. Polish -

5. Wax -

6. Maintain -

- Tires -

Wow so much to think lol. Im tryna go for a very clean detail. So since im running low on car wash what would u recomend? Ill probably get a case or 2 of clay with a bottle or 2 of Ultimate Compound alot of swirls and cobbwebbs.What would u recomend for the polish and glass?Whats metal to clean/polish?Im probably gonna need some strong cleaner/wax all done by hand. My hoods finish is getting dull so maybe colorx?

Well, you said we could spend your bonus

For paint, I look at 2 processes:

1. Wash -
2. Clay if needed
3. Clean - SwirlX for regular cleaning, UC if needed
4. Polish - Optional - Deep Crystal Polish
5. Wax - Nxt 2.0, etc.
6. Wax - 2 thin coats are best.

Or:

1. Wash -
2. Clay if needed
3. ColorX
4. Wax - Nxt

So I tend to keep the products around for both of those details. Most are the same, just SwirlX, UC, and ColorX to pick for what you feel like.

Glass... Nxt Glass Cleaner is great, the Detailer Line Concentrate is also great, real cheap, if you have room for the jug.

Metal could be exhaust, bare metal wheels, etc.

Can always use more towels... Grit Guard....

As for the hood, clay, UC and DC polish would likely be best. Not sure if that car is single stage paint or not.

Its kinda hard to buy somethings cuz i cant find them at retail stores like grit guards the microfiber wash mitt and drying towels i guess ill be hitting up ebay lol. Its a 200 dolloar bonus so i got alot to work with.Maybe buy one of everything off that list?

Knowing the amount of the bonus. I would suggest you get the hard to find items. Grit guards and d-line glass cleaner, etc. Then the rest could be otc.

Yes it is. Extremely concentrated. A little goes a very long way.

ADS is a great place to shop. Rick is extremely helpful. Great guy to work with.

Yeah they have a sample kit that comes with just about everything for 125.00 so i might just pick that one up
