After reading all the posts on this forum and over on Autopia, I asked Mike a couple of questions and decided to get serious.
I now have;
#7 Show Car Glaze
#9 Swirl Remover
#82 Swirl Free Polish
#83 DACP
Every NXT Product
Four Different Clay Bars (Meguiars, Zaino, Mothers, & Clay Magic
Microfiber polishing & Waffle Cloths
Meguiars Foam Pad Accessory Kits (2)
4 Extra 8006 Pads
Porter Cable DA
About 20 White Fieldcrest Towels (edges removed)
Plus all the Zaino Products
And various other waxes, polishes & stuff (3m, dupont, Zymol etc.)
And last but not least;
Three junk yard trunk lids to practice on!
I am going to tape off one foot wide sections on the trunk lids and try #83 with the red pad, #83 with the yellow pad, and #82 with the yellow pad, just to see how each feels to work with.
Then after I have gotten used to using the DA maybe I will try a rotary polisher.
Thanks for feeding this lunacy Mike!
