There has been some debate regarding M34 being used to remove polishing oils to inspect work. I tend to think M34 is more of a QD, rather than something that will strip the paint. Others think it's similar to Menzerna Top Inspection and will strip polishing oils. I use M34 every week on my car. I would hate to think it could be stripping the wax? FWIW, I always use diluted IPA for removing polishing oils. So. is M34 efficient in removing polishing oils?

Re: M34??
M34 is not efficient at removing "polishing oils" for inspection purposes.
Like you stated, a diluted IPA is your best choice

Re: M34??
M34 will not remove wax, so you are safe
If you are still worried about that, then we would suggest maybe trying Ultimate Quik Detailer. It will act a s a QD, while adding some additional polymers that may have been removed due to normal wear and tear.
The best of both worlds so to speakMike Pennington
