  • Need to touch up this deep scratch - any tips?

    any tips? do i need to sand it down first with fine sandpaper? that is on my rear bumper. I got touch up paint from the dealership

    Looks pretty deep, but I can't quite tell how bad it is. The camera is cofusing on the reflection and not on the paint. Any chance of getting a couple extra pics? Try focusing manually on the camera to get the best shot.

      sorry about the pic it was from my iphone. that scratch is from the garage door closing down on it. I can put my nail in it.

        I've done that same thing...its those hinges on the panels..slice right through the plastic bumpers..I just left it (wasn't into detailing then).

        You likely have a gouge in the plastic..I don't think paint will fix it..check a body shop...won't be cheap though.

          Looks like it is out of the realm of ww. Best option appears to be a body shop.
