Yes, I don't know if others agree, but I used it by PC on a old Nissan pickup and it made the red paint way shinier and all of the swirls got destroyed

Define "polish" in the context of your question.

The word polish means different things to different people.

But, to explain what UC does, it uses safe abrasives to erode away the too layers of paint, revealing level, clean paint beneath.

Now, in some cases (many) you can use UC and leave a wax-ready finish, but in some cases you may leave minor hazing or marring that will need to be followed with a polish such as SwilX.

UC has no polishing oils and is a true paint cleaner.
