Foam Gun ???

Do you need to use special soap in a foam gun or can you use regular car wash soap like Hyper-Wash?

Also do foam guns work on a principle similar to that of a sprayer you would use for weed killer and the like (like an Ortho Sprayer). Obviously they aren't the same thing, but my question is do you basically put the detergent in the bottle, then adjust the mix, hook up the hose and go to town?

If you want the real fancy foam like in some pictures, then yes.

But a regular car wash soap will work fine, and be safer, more lubricating. Just not foam that clings for 10 minutes.

Almost the same, but the foam happens from holes in the tube to aerate the mixture. A weed sprayer just shoots out the mixture.

I didn't mean to imply one could use a weed sprayer as a foam gun..just wondering if they used the idea to get the concentrate out of of the bottle and mix with the water....It sounds like it does
