  • Help - these unsightly swirl marks!!

Ok-so there are times when Im just too lazy, or dont have the time to remove all the swirls and micro scratches from my black car. What's the best product to use to help hide or cover up those unsightly swirls until i DO have time to get rid of them with my megs dual action?

I'm guessing there are some really great products out there that do this because... as most of us have all seen 1st hand.... the car dealers usually do a pretty good job of hiding those when you buy a car. Usually. So - has anyone used anything that works really good?

He is looking for something with fillers and not something to actually correct the problem at the moment.

NXT tech Wax 2.0 should do it , apply two thin coats

This will do very little filling.

Any filler product you apply will most likely be stripped as soon as you wash the car anyway.

To my knowledge there is no long lasting filler product. They are temporary at best. Looks like you will have to make the corrections.

It is better to go ahead and take the time to remove the swirls, because fillers can only fill a small amount.

The product you are looking for really doesn't exist. If it did, we could all just use a quick filler product like you are looking for, and have our cars look great instead of spending lots of time properly removing swirls.

If you don't have much time, then just go 1 weekend at a time. Remove the swirls on one panel one weekend, and move on to another the next. The key is to make sure you are properly washing and maintaining your car so you are no re-instilling swirls into your paint.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

              I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.

You can find a "Sealer and glaze" from a different company, not sure how well it works though.
