  • Do I need QID after APC?

Hello,l just a quick question, I have Quik Interior Detailer, Supreme Shine Interior Detailer, hyper dressing and APC, do I really need to use interior dressing after the application of APC?

Somehow on the looks, the interiors looked nice after using APC... Is there any kind of looks enhancer in APC?

    Straight from ADS:

Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner is ideal for reconditioning all interior surfaces. The superior foaming action gently lifts the dirt away while its unique blend of fabric softeners and optical brighteners enhance the look and feel of carpet, upholstery, vinyl and even leather.

So, yes, it will improve the visual aspect of certain items.

Being you live in a warm climate, I'd look at using the Quik Interior Detailer that you have or diluting the Hyper Dressing 4:1. This should help maintain the look you like and offer some UV protection.

Play with the dilution ratios until you find a look you like.

APC wont have any UV blocking ability, so a QID or dressing would be good, but APC can also leave a residue if you have to use a lot. So QID at least can be good to clean that off.

Try different dilution ratios. You do not want the dash unprotected from the sun.

APC is, well, an all purpose cleaner. It is not a vinyl, plastic or rubber dressing or protectant. It is very effective at what it is designed to do, but not so great at things it is not designed for. We would highly recommend using at least QID as a follow up after cleaning with APC, if not a proper protectant like Natural Shine, M40 or HyperDressing.
