A question about M07

The bottom of my doors had some surface rust. So I repainted them using a primer, the color, and a clear coat. A couple weeks later I applied M07 polish. For a few days the bottom of the doors looked great and blended nicely with the rest of the car. But the past week or so the areas started looking dull. Do all I need to do is apply more polish? I haven't done anything else to the new areas besides the polish. My plan is to apply wax 3 months from the day I did the painting. Any thoughts?

My guess would be that the polish/glaze has worn off. Its not meant to provide protection....but don't apply a wax/sealent because of outgasing...apply some more m07 if ya want? Lol
