  • When should i toss my clay bar?

I have recently clayed 4 cars with one clay bar. Each car is pretty new and were well maintained. Clay bar doesnt look very dirty. Have i over used this bar?
Am i obsessed?? A car is the second biggest financial investment for most people, why not keep it looking better than new?

When I can no longer knead the clay and get a clean surface. That is when I replace it.

        That is the definitive answer.

Use it until you can't get a clean working area out of it. I have detailed 10 cars with my current piece of clay, but several had little to no contaminant so it didn't use much of the clay up.

          +1

You can also recycle them and use older clay bars on glass, and wheels with baked on brake dust. I'd also throw it away if it were dropped.
