swirlx and ultimate compound bottles broke?

Not sure where I should put this question, but my swirlx bottle cracked the other day, so I was carefully squeezing it so it wouldn't come out the hole in the side of the bottle.
Just now, the ultimate compound bottle did the same thing!
I can see the stress points. Is this usual? I realize I do not have the strength in my hand as guys do, but on two bottles?
Can I use hot glue to seal the holes? thanks

Did you remove the safety seal prior to your first use

I would say this is abnormal. Dropping sprayer bottle and having the trigger break is about the only "normal" breaking issue.

I doubt hot glue is going to be strong enough to seal the cracks, you'd need something stronger like Crazy glue or epoxy. Not really worth in in my book. I'd wrap the bottles in duct tape and call it a day. Not elegant, but it will work.

What you might want to do is take the lid off when using the product. This will give you a much larger hole and relieve the pressure on the bottle.

Meguiar's also has secondary bottles.

I have problems with my bottles since starting using megs products some 7 years ago.

#26, #7, #5, UC, even 00, all cracked.

Megs bottles need improvement for sure.

Call Customer Service, and leave a message in Customer Service here.

You can buy a bottle like above to use, but complain also.

That's odd, i havent ran into that problem yet. But do what Murr suggested, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

In a pinch if you do not have any dispenser bottles. Go to the dollar store, get a couple of squeezable ketchup bottles. It will tide you over till you can get the appropriate bottles.

I accidentally dropped my bottle of Supreme Shine in the garage and it split the side enough to start leaking. I just poured it out in a water bottle and used it from there. I guess it really hit on the perfect spot to make it crack. This is the only product I've ever had do this.

I dropped a bottle of Natural Shine Protectant and split the bottom corner of the bottle. I stored the bottle on its side until it was used up. I had planned to refill that bottle with ASD...
