    The tape is a great idea I never thought about before going to the Meguiar's Detail Day event last November.

    I personally damaged the paint on my wife's Mustang using a Makita rotary and had I thought about taping the edges I would never have had a problem.

    Since the damage was limited to the leading edge of he hood, I found a touch up person that was able to airbrush the area and bring it back.

    So tape is one of those things, like clay, that really help save time and trouble while detailing cars.
