  • How does this look?

Here's my plan with the products that I already have for detailing-

    Wash
    -Gold Class Car Wash

    Cleaning
    -Clay
-Use Scratch X on isolated areas
-Use Swirl X on entire car

    Polish
    -Use Show Car Glaze 7

    Wax
-Gold Class Clear Coat Car Wax

    Maintain
    -Ultimate Quik Detailer

It's a 12 year old green car that was never detailed just taken through an automatic car wash once a month so it was kept fairly clean but never detailed so it's not in bad shape, just needs a little extra TLC
Let me know your opinion of my product choices
    Thanks

Looks pretty good to me. I would add in some UQW to use every few wahes to boost the GC wax.

Looks like a good plan. The only two things I would consider is if Swirl X is going to give you the results you are looking for. You may want to consider Ultimate Compound and use Swirl X for yearly maintenance. It really depends on what your goals are and how bad the current swirls are. I assume you are working by hand.

The other thing you may want to consider is using NXT Tech Wax 2.0 as a base coat, followed by the Carnauba wax.

You plan may be just fine as is. You'll know once you get started on those swirls.

Yeah, 2 coats of wax at least will be good, if both are Gold Class, or you use 2 different ones.

I was thinking about the Ultimate Compound if the SwirlX didn't work. Thanks

What's the difference between the Gold Class Paste Wax that I have vs. the Gold Class Wax that has Carnauba in produc name?

You may have the older version of the Gold Class Wax. Either opne will work but the new Gold Class has improved longevity and looks IMO.

Good plan. Just remember, 2 thin coats of Gold Class.
