Gold Class C Plus

Hello, I just saw Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus in a store nearby.. I have used Meguiar's cleaner wax, Deep Crystal, Gold Class, NXT, and NXT 2.0. and I love how amazing meguiar's waxes are. I usually use Liquid form of wax with my DA, and I would like to know opinions from you how about using paste (Gold class or NXT 2.0) with a DA.. Can I?

My place is humid and hot, sometimes my waxes get too liquid and the oil seperate from the wax.. Will paste wax keeps a better shape and product shelf life time compared to liquid wax?

Yes, you can apply a paste wax by DA Polisher. If possible, you can attempt to remove the entire paste "puck" from the container and then spread it across your foam pad in an even layer. If you aren't able to do that easily (I haven't used the Carnauba Plus so I'm not sure how the container holds the wax) then you can just use whatever way you find most simple to apply an even amount of paste wax over the face of the pad.

I have personally had better luck with pastes standing up to harsh elements than liquids, but like I said, I haven't tried this specific product yet, so I can't directly comment on how well it would maintain it's integrity in your level of heat and humidity.

Is it not possible for you to store your waxes/sealants in a climate controlled area?

You can, but liquid is just much easier to apply to the pad.
Always, shake the product first and then use it. It helps

One thing I could do is I keep the waxes in my bed room, or I put them in the fridge.. But I'm not so sure but the safety or health issues about putting car detailing products in my bedroom or in the fridge..

Which one will be faster and more efficient? liquid wax application by DA or paste wax application by hand?

I wouldn't put chemicals in a food refrigerator. Aside from your food possibly absorbing some of the chemical odor, I think a refrigerator is too cool to put detailing chemicals in. If you put your detailing supplys inside of a box, or better yet, a plastic storage container with a lid, I think it would be ok to store it inside of your bedroom. If it's really hot where you are, and you are limited on space, then I would limit the amount of chemicals on hand at any given time.

Liquid by DA is certainly the fastest and most efficient.

Thats why it is always a good idea to shake the bottle really well before using. As far as shelf longevity between liquid and paste, I think they both can last many years if stored properly, as in reasonable, adaquate temperature.

Thanks for the replies..

My friends and I have the same problem with storing the liquid waxes, and Speed Glaze #80.. Especially 21, it is very sensitive to heat, My Old Gold Class Just separated and too bad I tried to shake it but it didn't work.. I guess a year of using it is enough.. My first NXT 2.0 is not as liquid as my second NXT 2.0. THis time it is thin, a bit like a water compared to a wax.. My Step 3 I still thick though for almost a year of usage..
