As soon as I finished applying NXT 2.0 (paste) to my mother's 2008 Jeep Wrangler, we started getting some heavy downpour here in NY. Not knowing exactly what to do, I figured I would re wash the car (in the rain-lol) using almost a constant stream of water (which I thought would reduce friction and the potential of causing defects.) After the rain, I went back out and dried and hit up the Jeep with some Quik Detailer. So far, so good. I even got a decent amount of beading although the wax had very little time to cure. This brings me to my questions.
1) What is the best course of action in this situation? Is it possible to simply wait out the rain and buff off the wax?
2) Tomorrow should I clay the car to remove what is left of a probably very uneven coat of wax and then re-apply NXT 2.0 after watching the weather on TV? Will this be sufficient?
Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.
