  • Deep Crystal Polish |which pad?

Which pad would i use for the deep crystal polish?

    My current plan is:
    Ultimate Compound
    Polish
    Wax

I only have three pads. Two polishing (yellow) and one finishing pad that came with my g110v2

Im guessing the polishing pad correct?

Finishing pad. You don't need the extra abrasiveness of the polishing pad. All you are trying to do is to apply a thin coat of the polish for purposes of gloss enhancement. Work a section (speed 3) and then buff off the DCP immediately.

An alternative is to apply the DCP by hand with a foam applicator.

Coderedpl, here's a handy chart to keep in your polisher bag.

Thanks guys. I guess i will apply the polish, buff off with microfiber, clean up the pad after, and then apply the wax Since i only have 1 pad for now

It's personal preference, of course, but I've always preferred applying wax by hand. Just see how you like it by machine versus by hand.

            +100

I also like applying wax by hand.

What about working it it. Does it really need to be worked in. If so, wouldn't it be easier with a DA?

I agree, it's easier with DA, but I just like doing waxing by hand .. an old habit, when Da's were not around.
