I personally like M26 on my black paint. What is everyones opinion on applying a second coat. Do you apply right after the first coat is dry and polished or wait? If you wait, how long?

#26 is a top choice.
Wait about 12 Hrs and apply 2nd coat. -

In a perfect world you wait as long as possible. However you really do not have that luxury doing a customers car. If you can wait 20-30 minutes you should be okay.quality creates its own demandComment

On my own cars I apply a sealant on day 1 (usually after a Saturday wash) and top it with a wax the next morning.
For customers cars, it depends on the time available, but would try and leave as much time as possible between 1st and 2nd coats.Comment
